MAIN STAGE 2019
J.P. FELL PIPE BANDFounded in 1993, the J.P. Fell Pipe Band now consists of over 50 volunteer members, all sharing a passion for pipe music. As the Official Pipe Band of the North Shore, the JP Fell Pipe Band features a diverse range of community members from retired Fire Fighters, to doctors, and students. The band as been honored to play for the Lieutenant Governor at Government House in Victoria, the Lieutenant Governor at their annual Burns Supper, as well as many parades, ceremonies, community and multi-cultural events around British Columbia, North West Washington State, Scotland, and New York.

MARCUS MOSELY CHORALEPeople may not remember who you are, but they will remember how you made them feel - that's what the Marcus Mosely Chorale is all about. Many voice, one song, all culminating in joy.
We are a Chorale of 50 singers, singing in the Black African Gospel style, fused with soul and jazz, featuring some unique arrangements by our Artistic Director, Marcus Mosely, our Musical Director, Bill Sample and our Choral Director, Darlene Ketchum. SHOWSTOPPERSPerry Ehrlich ShowStoppers is a GLEE troupe that appears in concert, on radio and TV, and at numerous galas, awards shows, corporate, and charitable events throughout BC. Previous appearances include with the legendary group FOREIGNER at the Hard Rock Casino Theatre; singing the anthems for the Vancouver Canucks; with the Marcus Mosely Chorale; Canada Day at Canada Place; Concord’s New Years Eve Celebrations; and at the PNE.

LOS TAMBORESLos Tambores is a world percussion group that presents a dynamic and interactive performance.
Since 2009, they have performed at festivals, street fairs, community centres, and have presented workshops at schools ranging from pre-school to University. The members have studied with top performers and educators in the world music field, and teach and adjudicate in the Vancouver area. They invite their audience to participate in the excitement, playing high-energy traditional music from Africa, Cuba, and Brazil. |
MICHAEL OUCHIMichael Ouchi learned how to twist balloons while on staff at the 1987 Edmonton Street Performers Festival. Since then he has performed at many festivals and special events in Alberta, British Columbia, Hawaii, Yukon Territories, and Washington State. He entertains with playful stories while creating colorful characters and balloon art for those who come visit him on Canada Day at Waterfront Park.
