The North Vancouver Canada Day Celebrations is a project organized by the Lions Gate Rotary Club. For more than 20 years, the Lions Gate Rotary Club has supported youth programs on the North Shore by organizing this annual event. The Rotarians are involved in all aspects of the Canada Day Celebrations from initial planning, to final execution, and wrap-up. The Lions Gate Rotary Club is honoured to volunteer their time and skills to make this annual celebration at Waterfront Park fun, safe and memorable.

Chartered May 13, 1978, the Rotary Club of Lions Gate North Vancouver is located in District 5040 of Rotary International, a world wide organization with more than 1.2 million service-minded business and professional leaders. Rotary is a volunteer organization that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world. Rotary’s main objective is service – in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world.
