J.P. Fell Pipe Band
Recently proclaimed the Official Pipe Band of the City of North Vancouver, the J.P Fell Pipe Band is an active community group that participates in over 40 events a year and is proud to represent the Canadian Military Engineers. This year we are thrilled to have the the J.P. Fell Pipe Band kick off the Official Ceremonies by leading the Parade of Dignitaries to the main stage.

North Shore Celtic Ensemble
The North Shore Celtic Ensemble is made up of young member musicians directed by professional musicians, Claude Giguère and J. Knutson, and using strings, percussion and wind instruments to perform lively original compositions and arrangements of Celtic Orchestral based music. The NSCE is also a non-profit society and a registered charity.

North Shore Stars Ensemble
The North Shore Stars Ensemble was founded in 2010 by Aryo Nazaradeh and a group of dedicated young musicians ” Esmee, Lauren and Patrick” seeking to provide ensemble experience for their community. By providing musical leadership of the highest quality, experience with original repertoire from widely varied genres, and the stimulation of a cooperative environment, NSSE will establish a unique culture of excellence. They all have been members of Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra. They are featuring Scott Xia on Keyboard for this performance.

During our Official Ceremonies, Pro Arte will be performing a special acrobatic ballet piece set to our national anthem, a piece specifically created for the North Vancouver Canada Day Celebrations! Shin Myung Korean Drum Group
Shin Myung is an all girl North Shore amateur drum group, and was formed in 2005 with five members. They have since attracted additional members bringing the number of their members to 15. Shin Myung means “exhilaration”, a name chosen to express their passion for the music and celebration of life.
