Participate An event as large of the North Vancouver Canada Day Celebrations requires participation from a wide variety of supporters. This event is highly volunteer-driven, as it is organized by the Lions Gate Rotary Club, a non-profit organization. Residents of the Greater Vancouver area who whish to participate by donating a few hours of their time are encouraged to sign up by completing this registration form: Volunteerssignup08.doc
Please indicate your availability (Monday, June 30 or Tuesday, July 1) and our event coordinator will supply you with details regarding your role. Volunteering opportunities at the North Vancouver Canada Day Celebrations include helping with event set-up and take-down, assisting with games and activities, coordinating participants, and manning information booths. We look forward to celebrating with you this year!
High school students: The North Vancouver Canada Day Committee will write a letter of reference and CAPP hours will be awarded for volunteering for this event.
